Today we had Lyn Ross, the Te Apiti cluster facilitator sharing a presentation "What teachers want". It confirmed that we are on the right track as almost all tools she shared are ones that many of us use. It is always good to have positive validation of what we are doing. Another point was the real need for data projectors to be available in classrooms. It is so frustrating to not have the money to do things as soon as we can. However, we did manage to condense a 3 year purchasing projection into just 18 months, getting 4 terminals into every classroom (based on Extenda systems)
